In order to uplift Ayurveda and Siddha system of treatment the centre has decided to take initiative to launch a campaign to aware people of such age old modes of treatment especially for elderly people. The campaign is aimed at generating awareness in public about the importance of Ayurveda and Siddha.
For ch campaign national level workshop in Delhi from January 23, likewise state and district level workshop have also been envisaged.
Anita Das Secretary Department AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy) said, “Considering the time-tested efficacy of Ayurveda and Siddha systems in preventive and promotive aspects of health care, it is desirable to disseminate the scientific aspects and research findings of these systems for the benefit of the public.” Read the rest of this entry »
